I saw trucks much bigger then the Ridgline in Time Square and I would still never drive in NYC.

If you put your guitar in the bed of a truck you don’t like your guitar.

You should drive more often, sometimes it’s nice not to be a slave to the MTA

Last time I drove in NYC it was... exciting? I was trying to follow a friend on a complex route and wow, I had to tailgate the s**t out of him or else someone would have cut between us at least a dozen times. I have never driven so aggressively in my life and all I was trying to do was stay with him while he drove more or less normally. Cabs would try and cut in even while we weren’t moving. I had to close the gap to parallel-parking-close at stoplights, and keep it that close at the green light or else, again, a cab would have inserted itself in there. They seem to merge with the mentality of making “the other guy” avoid the accident.

If you’re not trying to do that, it’s not so awful.
